Ambre 83 by Symrise is a reconstruction of the famous base of the French company De Laire from the beginning of the 20th century. Its scent is a combination of the sweetness of vanilla, labdanum resin with the addition of animalic, musky and spicy notes. It smells very satisfying, soft and rich.

NOTE: the word "amber" does not refer to the scent of ambergris. Amber is a fantasy note. Amber itself does not have a distinct smell, but its color and aura bring to mind something noble and rich.
